28 Days to Better Landing Pages – Day #5: URL naming in PPC

TIP:  Make sure that your URLs stand out.  Capitalize the First letter of each word (if your brand allows it) and make sure the name after the slash is very close to the product or service you are trying to promote.

In your PPC campaigns, there is a field that allows you to designate the URL you want to land the user.  You can put anything in this field (display URL).  If your brand has 2 names and you put them together, capitalize the first letter of each word to stand out a bit more.  Also, make sure the name of the URL directly matches what you are selling.  If you are selling an internet marketing course it could say something like this:    http://www.yourdomain.com/internet-marketing-class.

These tips will also help you increase your quality score.  Every little optimization technique helps.  This is an easy one to implement as well.
